Our Introductory Program for Dancers Ages 0-6

FUN-DAMENTALS OF DANCE PROGRAM CLASSES

Classes begin August 19th, 2024 and go through June 6th, 2025

RECITAL IS JUNE 6th & 7th 2024 for participating classes.

These level breakdowns serve as a guideline. Dancers be may be placed in a different class or level at the director's discretion. Students are placed based on age and ability.

AGES 0-4

Boogie Babies (ages 18mo-3yr, non performing)

Mondays 5:30-6

Pre-Ballet (ages 2-4)

Tuesdays 4-4:30, or Thursdays 5-5:30

Tot Hop (ages 2-4)

Wednesdays 4:20-4:50

Creative Movement (ages 2-4)

Thursdays 5:45-6:15

AGES 5-6 (LEVEL I)

Ballet I

Tuesdays 4:40-5:25, or Thursdays 4-4:45

Hip Hop/Jazz I

Wednesdays 6-6:45

Baton

Wednesdays 4:15-5

Tap I

Wednesdays 5:05-5:50

FUN-DAMENTALS OF DANCE DRESS CODE

At Elevation Academy a dress code is enforced to teach dancers respect for the discipline of dance and to bring attention to safety and performance. Proper dance attire allows teachers and dancers to more effectively evaluate alignment and placement and enhances movement capabilities. Please see the descriptions below for each dance style.
