BACK TO DANCE REMINDERS
Here are some friendly reminders to ensure we all have a great season!
LOBBY
Our lobby is always open for our dance families to wait during class! Siblings/friends of dancers must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
DROP OFF / PICK UP
Students should arrive no more than 5-10 minutes before class to put on appropriate shoes and use the restroom. Parents are welcome to wait in our lobby during class but are not permitted in the dance rooms. Students need to be picked up on time. Students that are picked up more than 15 minutes late may be charged a $25 late pick-up fee (emergencies excepted).
FOOD / DRINK
Students may bring a SPILL PROOF water bottle into class. NO food or other drinks are allowed in the studios but may be kept in the student lounge with dance bags and students’ belongings.
PARENTS IN CLASS
We do not allow parents/guardians in any of our classes and photos/videos of classes are strictly prohibited. This encourages a productive, distraction free learning environment and respects the privacy of each dance family. We do offer a FREE, virtual class viewing option through our partner, Spot TV. We also welcome families into the studio during our Dance Family Viewing Weeks!
REQUIRED DRESS CODE
EAD enforces a dress code for all classes. Dress code information for each class is available HERE.
COMMUNICATION
Add info@elevationacademyofdance.org to your safe email list. We will communicate primarily by email and text message. Please keep all contact information current in your online portal. It is your responsibility to stay up to date with all information.
HANDLE WITH CARE
Family Request
We love and care about our dance families deeply.
If your family is experiencing a tough day, week, or season, your child may bring those feelings into dance class. If we are aware of the situation, we can extend even more attention, love, and care your child's way.
There is no need to share details about the situation. Just email, send a note, or simply say "Handle with Care" as you drop your child off and we will take it from there.
Our number one goal is to create a safe space where your child feels heard, loved, and accepted.
We are here for you and your family.
