Every dancer has the opportunity to experience the excitement of performing on the beautiful stage at the Montrose Pavilion, surrounded by a supportive community that cheers them on every step of the way.
We believe performances should be joyful—not stressful. That's why we prioritize thoughtful planning, clear communication, and a backstage culture that is safe, calm, organized, and encouraging. Families are never expected to volunteer to make our performances successful. Instead, we invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy watching your dancer shine.
January Showcase
Our January Showcase is one of the most exciting traditions at Elevation Academy of Dance. Held midway through the season at the beautiful Montrose Pavilion, it gives every dancer the opportunity to experience the excitement of performing on a professional stage long before recital season.
Unlike a traditional recital, the January Showcase is intentionally simple and stress-free. There are no expensive costumes, no dress rehearsal, and minimal extra commitments—just dancers stepping onto the stage to celebrate everything they've learned during the first half of the year.
For many dancers, being on stage is their favorite part of dance. The January Showcase gives them an extra opportunity to build confidence, practice performing for an audience, and experience the joy of sharing their hard work with family and friends. By the time spring recital arrives, the stage already feels like home.
Year-End Spring Recital
Our Spring Recital is the highlight of our dance season and a celebration of everything our dancers have accomplished throughout the year.
Held each June on the beautiful stage at the Montrose Pavilion, it's so much more than a performance—it's an unforgettable experience for dancers and families alike.
From the excitement of stepping into the spotlight to the pride of sharing months of hard work, recital is where confidence grows, memories are made, and every dancer has the opportunity to shine.
An Unforgettable Experience
A Story Comes To Life.
Our Spring Recital opens with a fully staged storyline ballet production, giving ballet dancers the opportunity to become characters in a story rather than simply perform choreography. Through costumes, music, acting, and movement, dancers learn to tell a story and bring beloved characters to life.
The second act celebrates every other style we offer, allowing dancers to showcase their unique personalities, artistry, and growth through jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, acro, and more.
A Week Of Celebration
Recital isn't just one performance—it's an entire week celebrating our dance family.
Families are invited to our Dance Family Appreciation Open House, where dancers receive their recital T-shirts and end-of-season awards while enjoying refreshments, music, and time together before the excitement of recital weekend begins.
Performance day features our signature EAD touches, including the red carpet, photo backdrop, beautiful theater lighting, flowers, custom recital keepsakes, and all the little details that make the experience feel truly special.

We believe recital should be exciting—not overwhelming.
Our team takes pride in clear communication, thoughtful organization, and a backstage environment that is calm, safe, encouraging, and fun. Parents are never expected to volunteer backstage. Our goal is for your family to simply enjoy the experience, watch your dancer shine, and celebrate the incredible journey they've taken throughout the season while we take care of the details.
